He was predeceased by: his parents, Mitchell Janow and Esther Lufrano Janow; his daughter Suzanne Louise Janow; and his grandson Alexander M. D. Janow. He is survived by: his wife Louise Mary D'Angelo Janow; his sons, Michael James Janow (Marie) of Stephens City, VA and Scott Frank Janow (Nancy) of Stephens City, VA; and his siblings, Edward Janow of Williamsburg, VA and Marilyn Alfano of Fort Myers, FL.
