We are sad to announce that on April 20, 2022, at the age of 82, Kenneth Mitchell Burks Sr. of Stephens City, Virginia, born in Winchester, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Burks and Archie Burns. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Lynn Prather; his children, Shawn Michael, Troy, Kenneth Jr. and Danielle; and his half-sister Judy Humbert.

A celebration of life will be held at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 1317 S Pleasant Valley Rd, Winchester VA on Friday 4/29/22 at 11am with Rev. Dr. Gilbert M. Mack Jr. We will be following Guidelines for Covid, and mask will be required.
