He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cornwell and Anna Cornwell. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Cornwell; his daughters, Christie Cornwell and Katherine McHargue; his stepdaughters, Carey Hofle and Kelly Wilkinson; his grandchild Hayden Wilkinson; and his brother Dan Cornwell (Pat).
