She was predeceased by: her parents, Gardner M. Bageant and Pearl L. Elbin Bageant; her sister Hazel B. Himelright; her spouse Lane M. Reed, Sr.; and her sons, Lane M. Reed, Jr. (Sheila) and Wayne G. Reed, Sr. (Ted).
She is survived by: her brother Ronald B. Bageant (Judy); and her daughters, VaVa Reed and Dana DeHaven (Bill). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, and numerous great and great-great grandchildren, loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Macedonia United Methodist Church (1941 Macedonia Church Rd, White Post, VA 22663). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at the Macedonia Memorial Cemetery (1941 Macedonia Church Rd, White Post, VA 22663).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, Macedonia United Methodist Church, or the Macedonia Cemetery Association.
