He is survived by: his wife Elaine Fink; his daughter Wendy Fink; his sisters, Jackie Jenkins of Stephens City, Kay Ogilvie of Hagerstown, MD and Pam Fink of Stephens City; his uncle Daniel Fink of Stephens City; his aunt Lucille Martin of Winchester; his sister Linda Jean; and also, Gladys and Tracey Fink. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family wishes that in place of flowers, memorial contributions be in Gene's memory to Blue Ridge Hospice of Winchester, VA, Stephens City Volunteer Fire and Rescue, and Middletown Fire and Rescue.
