She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cole and Wilma Louise Strautman Cole; and her husband Calvin Fairbanks Bailey. She is survived by: her children, Michael Bailey of Stephens City, VA, Charles "Chuck" Bailey (Karen) of Romney, WV and Karen Synowietz (Peter) of Winchester, VA; her niece Susan Boyd; her grandchildren, Brandon Bailey, Justin Gallahan, Sean Hamad, Heather Hamad, Jessica Bailey, Erica Bailey and D. J. Bailey; and her great grandchildren, Dawson Bailey, Riley Hamad, Loki Gallahan, Nikko Gallahan and Abigail Gallahan.

Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (810 Fairfax St, Stephens City, VA 22655). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Green Hill Cemetery (1000 Fairfax St, Stephens City, VA 22655).
