We are sad to announce that on May 14, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Yvonne S. Goodson of Staunton, Virginia, born in Russell, Kentucky. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Asa Marvin Sparks and Mamie Sophronia Mullins; her husbands, Irven Lee Goodson, Jr. and Chuck Goodson; her siblings, Carroll Richardson, Victor Sparks and Wanda Terry; and her sons, Gary Goodson and Doug Goodson.
She is survived by: her brother-in-law Bobby Goodson; her children, Sandy Goodson (Peter Marks), Dale Goodson, Danny Goodson (Elizabeth Fooks) and Janice Goodson (Curtis Hite); and her grandchildren, Rosie McDermott (Kevin), Emma Saveika (Tim), Drayton Turner, Alex Goodson (Lorrie), Sophie Greenwood (Tom) and Sam Goodson. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bethel Presbyterian Church.
