He was predeceased by: his mother Callie Elvin Tinsley Brooks; and his siblings, Hugh Worthington Brooks, Jr., Clyde Walton Brooks, Thelma Lorene and Charlotte Louise Brooks.
He is survived by: his father Hugh Worthington, Sr.; his wife Mary Evelyn Reed Brooks; his children, John Randolph Brooks (Judith Owens) and Katherine Louise Brooks Martin; and his grandchildren, Candace Martin, Amber Nicole Brooks and Joshua John Brooks.
