With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia B. Martin (Staunton, Virginia), who passed away on January 17, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl McClure and Josephine Eliza Adkins Cale; her former husband Marshall Samuel Balser; her siblings, Franklin, John, Bernard, William Cale and Frances Cale Daniel; and her grandchildren, Dale Ray Sprouse and Amanda Sprouse.
She is survived by: her children, Ruby Balser Sprouse, Ann Balser Koontz and Marshall Stephen Balser; her daughter-in-law Debbie Balser; her grandchildren, Jennifer Sprouse, Andy Bishop (Jodie), Cassandra Vaughn (Corey) and Tony Sprouse (Sharon); her great grandchildren, Bradley, Taylor, Kiara, Tre, Brittani, Jessie, Anthony, Tanner, Remy and Dean; her great great grandchildren, Brayden and Jackson; and her extended family John Opstad. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
