She was predeceased by: her husband Hugh Lee Nuckols; her parents, Charles Clarence, Sr. and Edna Earl Roberts (Shull); her sons, Lee Nuckols and Charles William 'Bill Nuckols Sr.; her daughters-in-law, Betty Ann Arehart and Peggy 'Jeannie' Nuckols (Jenkins); and her siblings, Merlin Roberts, Earl Roberts, Reginald Roberts, Clarence Roberts, Jr., Ora Mae Clark and Virginia Elizabeth Campbell.

She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Gayle Nuckols of Meadowview, VA and Sherry Jo Nuckols of Staunton. She is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
