She was predeceased by: her parents, Riley Blair and Mattie Margaret Acord Bosserman; her husband Carroll Wayte Swortzel; and her siblings, Sgt. Napoleon Riley Bosserman, James Stuart Bosserman, Oliver Lee Bosserman, Richard Condeleon Bosserman, Glenwood Arachon Bosserman, Cliftmont Bosserman, Mary Bell Bosserman Homan and Katie Rebecca Bosserman Kniceley.
She is survived by: her children, Carroll "Mac" McCheyne Swortzel (Karen) and Patricia Marie Swortzel Sensabaugh; her grandchildren, Melodye Paruszkiewicz (Patrick), Kara Hughes (Kristin Holbrook), Christopher Hughes, Rachel Ashby (Mike), Isaac Swortzel (Stephanie) and Sarah Russell (Dennis); and also, Guy Williams, Larry Mazza, Bill Wade, Michael Ashby, Sr., Dave Moody and Ken McCoy. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
