With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vickie Lynn (Nazelrod) Barnes of Staunton, Virginia, born in Harrisonburg, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 3, 2024 at the age of 61. She was predeceased by: her father Lindy Earl Nazelrod; her brother Lindy Leon Nazelrod; and her father-in-law Thomas Barnes. She is survived by: her husband Michael T. "Mike" Barnes of Staunton; her mother Lucy Mae Evans; her son Brock Michael Barnes of Staunton; her siblings, Lindy Lee Nazelrod (Dena) of Harrisonburg and Theresa Mae Shifflett (Barry) of Elkton; her mother-in-law Wilda Barnes of Verona; her brothers-in-law, Christopher S. Barnes and Randy A. Barnes of Staunton; her nephews, Tyler Shifflett and Chris Nazelrod; and her niece Augusta Barnes.
