He was predeceased by: his mother Geneva Reed Howard. He is survived by: his sisters, Cynthia Howard of Dover, DE, Mary Howard of Staunton, Betty Matthews (Bruce) of Lakeland, FL, Phyllis White (Algernon) of Lakeland, FL and Geneva Lockwood of Lakeland, FL. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins.
He supported his church by his tithes and offerings plus collecting cans and donating the money.
