He was predeceased by: his sister Teresa Hostetter; his uncle Pete Wilson; and his mother Wilma Huffer. He is survived by: his fiancée Kathy S. Waliky of Fort Defiance; his children, Matthew G. Mitchell (Rebecka Miller) of Craigsville and Meghan L. Soffel (Rachal E. Soffel) of Greenville; his siblings, Wayne Cowles (Debbie) of Crimora and Kimberly D. Miller (Jerry) of Churchville; and his grandchildren, Miah, Patrick, Lincoln, Finnley and Avery.
