She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Thomas and Pearl Lillie Palmer Jackson; her husband William Warwick Chestnut; and her siblings, Thomas, Randall Jackson and Wanda Lee Jackson Sheets.
She is survived by: her son William Wayne Chestnut (Robyn); her siblings-in-law, Franklin Chestnut (Dreama), Bernard Chestnut (Marie), Erma Jean (George), Mary Grace Chestnut and Lucy Cahoon; and her nephew Dale Sheets (Charlene).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Henry Funeral Home (1030 W Beverley St, Staunton, VA 24401). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens (1921 Shutterlee Mill Rd, Staunton, VA 24401).
