He was predeceased by: his father George William; his brother Frank Rexrode; and his nephew Matthew Armstrong. He is survived by: his children, Jonathon "Jon" Showalter, Jennifer Thacker and Michelle Jensen; and his siblings, Glen "Rex" Rexrode, Wayman "Bucky" Brock, Ardella Terry (Stevie) and Madeline Whitecotton (Larry). He is also survived by six grandchildren; and four nieces.
