He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ivan and Lena Virginia Sheffer Eagle; and his brother Robert "Bobby" Earl Eagle. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Jean Potter Eagle; his sons, David James Eagle (Tracey) and Kevin Wade Eagle (Mary Ann Griffin); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Inez Eagle (Kyle Turner), Isaac Caleb Euell Eagle, Audrey Elizabeth Eagle, Lleyton Campbell Anderson and Caedmon Thomas Anderson; and his sister Norma Lee Eagle Sheets (Charles). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
It is suggested by the family that those desiring may make memorial contributions to Saint Paul's Church (2000 Shutterlee Mill Road, Staunton, VA 24401).
