He is survived by: his wife Pamela Clifton; his son Ryan Nicholas Clifton (Jamie) of Weyers Cave; his siblings, Gary Lane Clifton (Janet) of Staunton, John Boyd Clifton, Jr. (Peggy), Christiansburg and Sandra Sue Clifton Smalley (Mike) of Carol Stream, Illinois; his stepsiblings, Ronnie Lee Cash and Brenda Jean Cash Griffin; his brother-in-law William Rowe of Franklin; and his grandson Cain Franklynn Clifton of Weyers Cave. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren; and his beloved pets.
