He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther William Stuples and Kathleen Elizabeth Stuples Colvin (Knight); his children, Joseph L. "Fuzzy" Stuples and Karen L. Strickler; his granddaughter Stormie Stuples; his daughter-in-law Sandy Stuples; and his sister Alice Randolph.
He is survived by: his sons, William "Rick" Stuples (Cathy) of Brownsburg and Stanley L. Stuples of Goshen; his grandchildren, Russell Strickler, III, Jessica Hinkle (Jason Sr.), Nicole Balser (Johnathon), Angela Wiles (Matthew), Phatrisha Strickler, Joseph Stuples, Jr. (Krystal), Martin "Marty" Stuples Sr. (Rachel), Virginia K. Knight, William R. Stuples, II and Michael Stuples; his great grandchildren, Julianna Hinkle, Jason Hinkle Jr., Alyssa Craig, Dawson Balser, Emma Wiles, Haley Stuples, Kathleen Stuples, Martin Stuples Jr., Jasmine Mason, Julie Mason and Jaida Mason; his great great grandchild Ensley; and his children-in-law, Russell Strickler, Jr. and Dorothy Stuples.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory (230 Frontier Dr, Staunton, VA 24401). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Estaline Valley Church of the Nazarene (2117 Troxel Gap Rd, Craigsville, VA 24430). A burial will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at the Of the Brethren Cemetery (711 Little River Rd, Goshen, VA 24439).
