He is survived by: his children, Alfredo Garrett (Tina), Tony Locklear (Christina), Gwendolyn Andrews, Phillip Ware, III and Shanette Ware; his siblings, Evelyn Kier and Wayne Anderson; and his aunt Sonja Waters (Terry). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
