She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Leach and Pauline "Polly" Jesse Whitmire Smith. She is survived by: her son Matthew Scott Carr; her grandchildren, Camon Carr and Willow Carr; and her friends, Amy Simmons, Elaine Kennedy, Hope Keyser and Gay Gladwell.
