She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Violet "Tenny" Lambert High; her husband Charles Taylor; her sister Sandra K. Dolly; and her niece Tabitha High.
She is survived by: her siblings, Amanda Adkins (Stephen) of Elkton, Galen "Pete" High (Lorie Hartman) of Harrisonburg and Austin "Vincent" High (Connie) of Timberville; her stepfather Roy Breeden; her nephew Brandon High; her nieces, Samantha Beighe, Brittany Shifflett, Stephanie Adkins, Sabrina Adkins and Savannah Adkins; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Carter Beighe, Maddilynn Beighe and Wrenleigh Shifflett; and her sister-in-law Doris Driver.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kyger Funeral Home - Harrisonburg (3173 Spotswood Trail, Harrisonburg, VA 22801). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Augusta Stone Presbyterian Cemetery (28 Old Stone Church Ln, Fort Defiance, VA 24437).
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with final expenses.
