She was predeceased by: her parents, Basil Arrie and Clara Lillian Slayton Guffey, Sr.; her husband Randall Lynn Hiner; and her brother Roy Eugene Guffey. She is survived by: her children, Randall Christopher Hiner and Carla Nicole Luders (Andrew); her brothers, Basil Arrie Guffey Jr. (Tina) and Joseph Wayne Guffey (Deborah); her grandchildren, Keerstin Kayla Christina Hiner, Corbyn Arik Bryant and Brooklyn Arianna Nicole Bryant; her great grandchild Genevive Nicola Michelle Garner; and her close friends, Sandra Smith, Donna Hilbert and Michelle Caplette.
It is suggested that in lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial donations to the Augusta Regional SPCA (P.O. Box 2014, Staunton, VA 24402).
