Nellie B. Hevener Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 27, 2025, at the age of 90, Nellie B. Hevener (Staunton, Virginia), born in West Augusta, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Margie Fawn Michael and Gaylon Avery Bledsoe; and her siblings, Beatrice Graham, Don Michael, James Michael and Douglas Bledsoe.
She is survived by: her stepfather Clarence Edward Michael; her husband Bobby Hevener; her friend Nellie; her sons, Gaylon, Michael "Mikie" Hevener (Jeanne) and Timothy "Timmy" Hevener (Anni); her daughter-in-law Mary Baxter (Stephen); her grandchildren, Melina Hevener and Dustin Hevener (Jillayne); her great grandchildren, Sophia and Corrin; her grandchild Cari Gibson (Joseph); her great grandchildren, Miriam, Ilsa, Atticus, Katherine, Ruth and Ulysses; her grandchild Morgan Grabinski (Aaron); her great grandchildren, Finnley and Magnolia; her grandchildren, Megan Lewanski (Jacob) and Jaxon; and her siblings, Ruby Mae Graham, Nancy Blackwell, Dale Michael, Gaylon Bledsoe and John Bledsoe.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Staunton Seventh-Day Adventist Church (1000 N Coalter St, Staunton, VA 24401). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to The Alzheimer's Foundation or to Staunton Seventh-day Adventist Church.
