It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melissa F. Simmons (Staunton, Virginia), who passed away on April 7, 2023, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Kay C. Fry (Carpenter) of Staunton, VA.. She is survived by: her father David Fry, Jr. of Staunton; her siblings, Diane Fry of Waynesboro and David Fry III (Ashley) of Huntersville, NC; and her parents-in-law, William C. Simmons, Sr., Ruby May Simmons, Siberian Huskies, Kylee Jane and Krypto.
