She is survived by: her children, Pam Bowman, Kathryn Johnson (Chris), Virginia Shifflett (Roger) and Robert Bowman (Darlene); and her sister Laura Louise Franklin of Staunton, VA. She is also survived by four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
