He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Calvin Baird and Pauline Baird (Togger); and his brother Charles Baird. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Liz" Baird (King) of Staunton; and his siblings, Paul Baird of Virginia Beach and Martha Baird of Staunton. He is also survived by six sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and a number of nieces, nephews and many cousins.
