She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Clarence Varner and Elsie Lucille Corbett Varner; her husband Tunney Richard Snyder; and her siblings, James "Jimmy" Franklin, William Arthur Varner and Judith Madeline King.
She is survived by: her friend Reverend Madison Ailinger; her daughter Rhonda Manuel (Gary); her grandson Danny Manuel (Elly); her great grandchild Carmella Manuel; and her sister Velda Smith. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that those desiring may make memorial contributions to Christ United Methodist Church (1512 Churchville Avenue, Staunton, VA 24401).
