With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lynda Lou (Dixey) Diehl (Staunton, Virginia), born in Levittown, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 26, 2024 at the age of 66. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis H. Dixey, Jr. and Marilyn E. Canham of Colorado; and her brother Robert Charles Dixey. She is survived by: her husband Samuel Milton Diehl of Staunton; her sons, Michael (Michelle) of Staunton, Russell (Lindsey) of Waynesboro and Chris "Critter" (Devin) of Bridgewater; and her grandchildren, Lauren Wood, Courteney Morris, Alex Diehl (Miki Swanson), Jaxon Diehl, Lydia, Aliya Wiseman and Nolan Diehl.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory (230 Frontier Dr, Staunton, VA 24401). A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Lutheran Church (320 St James Rd, Fishersville, VA 22939). A burial was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
