She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Eugene and Mary Bradley Demastus Guffey; and her son Joseph Samuel Cook II. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Gail Cook Surface (Edward) and John William Cook (Myra); her grandchildren, Marylinn Segars (Sam), Jessica Surface (Aaron Moon), Katrina Brucia (Joey) and Heather Lambert (John); and her sister Barbara Louise Guffey. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
