It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Louise Arey of Staunton, Virginia, who passed away on November 16, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Newton and Janie Louise Drumheller (Lawhorne). She is survived by: her children, Gregory Scott Arey (Marissa) of Wilmington, NC and Greta Linette Arey of Staunton; her grandchildren, Gabriella and Daniel Arey; her sister Nancy Howdyshell (Donnie) of Churchville; her niece Teresa Howdyshell; her nephews, Dustin Howdyshell (Marleen), Bradley Howdyshell (Yvonne) and Paul Arey (Teresa); her great-nephew Josh Howdyshell (Stephanie); and her great-niece Jessa Howdyshell. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Shenandoah Baptist Church Cemetery (170 Lee Hwy, Verona, VA 24482).
