He is survived by: his children, Michael Gilmer (Michelle) and April Seay; his grandchildren, Khirstee Miah Gilmer, James William Balser, Miranda Jewel Chittum, Felicia Dawn Jones, Wesley Dale Seay and Jessica Paige Seay; his great grandchild Kairi Dawn Jones; and the mother of his children Pat Botkin.
