With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Katherine Marie Porter-Dugmore (Staunton, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 26, 2025 at the age of 60. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Katherine Marie leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Katherine Marie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Olin Wade Porter and Myrtle Mae Porter (Riley); and her siblings, David Wade Porter and Debra Ann Porter. She is survived by: her husband Kevin Norman Dugmore of Stuarts Draft; and her sister Cynthia Diane Porter of Staunton.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oaklawn Memory Gardens (1921 Shutterlee Mill Rd, Staunton, VA 24401).
