Juanita Catherine left this world on August 20, 2024 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband Homer L. Maddox of Staunton; her parents, Harmon Brown Bell Varner and Mary Naomi Varner (Sandy); and her siblings, Ralph, Vincent, Clyde, Robert, William Varner, Carletta Frank, Cleta Opple and Sarah Swisher.
She is survived by: her children, Glenn Maddox (Vickie) and Judy McIlwee (Gene) of Staunton; her grandchildren, Kimberly Cash (Sam) of Raphine, Steven Maddox (Chelby) of Raphine, Megan McIlwee of Staunton, Jason McIlwee and Katie of Lyndhurst; her stepgrandchildren, Casey Fitzgerald (Michelle) and Kelly Williams (Mike); her great grandchildren, Sam Cash III (Ana), Aspen Johnson (Tyler), Madison Cash, Ty Maddox, Tenley Maddox and Nicholas McIlwee; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Lauren Clodi (Kyle), Jonah Fitzgerald, Aaron Williams (Coral), Daniel Williams, Jett Clodi and Catalina Williams. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
