We are sad to announce that on July 3, 2024, at the age of 76, John W. Stone III of Staunton, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley "Buck", Jr. and Mary Evelyn Desper Stone; his wife Mary Eleanor Reed Stone; his brother-in-law Joe Reed; and his pet Sissy.
He is survived by: his son Wesley Stone (Lori); his sister Connie Kennedy (Chuck); his grandchildren, Somer Warren (Matt) and Seth Stone (Ashley Atkins); his brother-in-law John Reed; his great grandchildren, Landon, Braelyn Warren, Avery Stone and Bentley Dameron; and his pets, Morris, Oreo, Punkin and Lucy.
