John R. Bartenslager Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 26, 2024, at the age of 90, John R. Bartenslager (Staunton, Virginia), born in York, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Arthur "Doc" Valentine Bartenslager and Delilah Orr Bartenslager; his wife Helen Virginia Arthur Bartenslager; his grandson Jeb Tanner Rippey Bartenslager; and his sister Margaret "Tunie" Joan Bartenslager Robinson.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Lynn Bartenslager, Arthur Conway Bartenslager (Ruth), Brock Orr Bartenslager (Melissa) and John Talmon Bartenslager (Kelly); and his sisters, Ann Hanger, Linda Henry and Pamela Michael. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
It is suggested that those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association (PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692) and Legacy Hospice (14 Old Oaks Drive Ste. 101 Fishersville, VA 22939).
