He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernard Owen and Hattie Agnes Allen Grant; his wife Wilma Joyce Graves Grant; and his son Michael Owen Grant. He is survived by: his sons, David Boyd Grant (Debbi) and Robin Dale Grant (Diane Wynn); and his grandchildren, Nathaniel Claiborne Grant (Christine), Miranda Kaye Grant, Caitlin Victoria Grant Zirkle (Seth), Jessica Nichole Grant and Matthew Christopher Grant.
