He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen V. Holbert and Leafie Holbert; and his brother Robert G. Holbert. He is survived by: his wife Linda Fix Holbert; his son Jeffrey K. Holbert (Marcy); his grandson Benjamin; his son Andrew J. Holbert (Ashley Meadows); and his grandchildren, Kaylee Holbert, Serena Holbert and Isaac Holbert.
