He is survived by: his wife Nancy Caricofe Swisher; his son Hugh Olen Swisher (Megan); his grandchildren, Kailyn Jane, Jayce Olen Swisher, Wyatt Scott, Weston Charles and MacKenzie Ann Shomo; and his siblings, Houston, Curtis, Leonard, Calvin, Greenlee, Babe, Eugene, Vottie Whitmore and Phyllis Summers.
In lieu of flowers, the family would welcome donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
