He was predeceased by: his parents, Hampton H. Hairfield, Sr. and Josephine Hanna Hairfield; his siblings, John Howard, Harvey, Harriette and Elizabeth (Bebe); and his cousins, Michael and Stevan Hanna.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Mauger Hairfield of Staunton; his sisters-in-law, Betty Hairfield of Richmond and Anne Hairfield of Mitchellville, MD; his cousins, William Hanna, Jennifer Hanna Williams and Sarah Hanna Foster; and also Katie of Staunton.
