He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles William Ergenbright and Nellie Jane Ergenbright (Clatterbaugh); his son Matthew Lee Ergenbright; and his siblings, Joe David Ergenbright and Bonnie Gail Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Mae Ergenbright; his daughter Caryn Denise Ergenbright of Staunton; his grandchildren, Rebecca Lee Davidson (Dillon) and Charles Brenden Ergenbright; his great grandchildren, Matthew Lane Davidson and Callie Wren Davidson; his siblings, Roger Wayne Ergenbright (Patty) of Churchville, Lindy Gough (Marion) of Swoope and Sharon Buchanan (Mac) of Rich Valley, VA; his siblings-in-law, Buddy Thomas, Anne Harris, Freda Lightner and Barbara Hartless (Ernie); and his nephew Anderson Daniel (Christina).
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Marquis Memorial United Methodist Church (1614 W Beverley St, Staunton, VA 24401).
