It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Garnet Mae Wood of Staunton, Virginia, who passed away on July 11, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry Clement Miller and Frances Mabel Randolph; her son James Alexander Wood; and her siblings, Marshall Davis Miller, James Olin Miller and Colleen "Mickey" Benson.

She is survived by: her sisters, Jacqueline S. Miller of Glendale, CA and Florence S. Field of Utah. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
