He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Heller Decker and Mary Decker (Grimm); and his brother Jack Decker. He is survived by: his children, Denise Wells of Hampton, Millie Cook (Robert) of Staunton, Stephanie Ramsey (Keith) of Staunton, Virgil Decker (Chris) of Roanoke and Robert "R. B." Decker (Michelle) of Middlebrook; his brother Fred Decker (Twila) of Middlebrook; his nephew Jeff Deaver (Kim); and his grandchildren, Kara Wisecarver, Emily Rexrode, Bethany Decker, Jussy Ramsey, Kayla Ramsey, Maranda Cook, Rachael St. Pierre and Adam St. Pierre. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
