With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francis J. McDonough (Staunton, Virginia), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 20, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Francis has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; and his children, Lynne Smiley (Butch), Steve McDonough (Martha) and Rich McDonough (Debbie). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine and a half great grandchildren.
