Frances C. Britt Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances C. Britt (Staunton, Virginia), who passed away on January 15, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Alson and Alice Bryant Cash; her husband Robert "Bobby" Stuart Britt; her siblings, Charles "Buck" Calvin, Nelson "Nickel" Roosevelt, Roy Leach, Ray Kennan, Benjamin "Benny" Franklin, Harold Alexander Cash, Sr. and Elaine Grace Cash Britt; her close friend Viola Dudley; and her nephew Gary Cash.
She is survived by: her caregiver Mike Cash; and her sisters-in-law, Gladys Cash (Buck) and Lillie Cash (Harold). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 351 Cider Mill Rd, Mt Sidney, VA 24467. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Henry Funeral Home (1030 W Beverley St, Staunton, VA 24401). A burial will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hebron Presbyterian Church Cemetery (423 Hebron Rd, Staunton, VA 24401). A reception will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at 351 Cider Mill Rd, Mt Sidney, VA 24467.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Zetta Presbyterian Church (229 Moffett Branch Rd, Churchville, VA 24421) or Gentiva Hospice (420 Neff Ave #110, Harrisonburg, VA 22801).
