He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest Henry Halterman, Sr. and Marie Catherine Huffman Halterman; his wife Mary Frances Carroll Halterman; his son Tony Cletus Halterman; and his brother Bobby "Monk" Allen Halterman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Frances Halterman, Christine Marie Halterman and Pamela Sue Halterman; his siblings, James Franklin Halterman, Donald Lee Halterman (Gail), Jerry Lynn Stotler (Maria Victoria), John Ray Halterman, Betty Jean Halterman Bayne, Mary Ann Halterman Spitzer (Robert) and Shirley Mae Halterman; his grandchildren, Shana Halterman, Tiffany Key, Ricco Jenkins, Heather Halterman and Lester Stewart; and his great grandchildren, Elijah, Uriah, Taijon, Aalaesha, Savannah, Piper, Mason, Jaxen and Lucas.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Henry Funeral Home (1030 W Beverley St, Staunton, VA 24401). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
