Faye H. Sutton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Faye H. Sutton (Staunton, Virginia), born in Mount Sidney, Virginia, who passed away on February 29, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Madge Shumate and Marvin Shumate; her husband Nelson O. Sutton, Sr.; her son Nelson O. Sutton, Jr.; her grandson Nelson O. Sutton III; and her siblings, Elizabeth Simmons, Catherine Warren, Vera Layman and Marvin Shumate Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Shiflet (Don), Theresa Lanier (Mike) and Cynthia Wright (Curtis); her grandchildren, Tony Miller (Misty), Kim Rousseau (John), Ashley Shiflet, Amy Wilkinson (Brad), Sara Nguyen (Nicholas) and Crissy Gentry (Jason); her great grandchildren, Alex Miller, Regan Rousseau, Brittany St. Lawrence (Jonathan), Jack Rousseau, Grant Rousseau, Kayla Nguyen, Nathan Sutton, Rylan Miller, Maya Nguyen, Sydney Sutton, Cooper Wilkinson and Brynn Gentry; her great great grandchild Delainey Paige St. Lawrence; and her great grandchildren, Lynda and Amy Sutton. She is also survived by four children, seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
