Douglas Ray Malcolm Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Ray Malcolm of Staunton, Virginia, who passed away on February 16, 2025 at the age of 57. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Malcolm and Diane Malcolm White (McDorman). He is survived by: his significant other Ronda Malcolm; his son Dalton Malcolm; his stepdaughter Megan Swisher (Olen); his grandchildren, Wyatt Shomo, Weston Shomo, Mackenzie Shomo, Kailyn Swisher and Jayce Swisher; his sisters, Sheila Malcolm Rose and Mary Moomaw (Kevin); his close friend Tim Galford; his sister Teresa; his brother-in-law Tommy Hurlock; his brother Steve; his sister-in-law Patsy Giles; and his pet Cinnabun. He is also survived by numerous cousins and a niece.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel (230 Frontier Dr, Staunton, VA 24401). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Doug has requested that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105-1942, a charity near and dear to his heart.
