She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Wesley Kirtz of Staunton; her parents, Richard Cowen Throckmorton and Mary Throckmorton (Gray); her son Michael Jay "Mike" Kirtz; her brother Richard "Dick" Throckmorton; and her half-brother Phillip Throckmorton.
She is survived by: her children, Jan Paul Kirtz (Analiza) of Fishersville, Jeffrey Ransom "Jeff" Kirtz (Reneé) of Pamplin, VA, Cheryl Lee "Cherie" Zeiner (David) of Staunton and Kristina Marie "Krissy" Kirtz of Staunton; her grandchildren, Tiffany Stickley, Allison Labadie (Tucker), Emily Carroll (Ryan), Meaghann Raines (Michael), Tyler Kirtz and Wesley Kirtz (Abby); her great grandchildren, Alex Collins, Kiersten Collins, Ella Hoffman, Easton Hoffman, Gemma Carroll, Weston Labadie, Quinn Labadie, Millie Raines, Nora Kirtz, Ryan Kirtz and Camille Kirtz; her great great grandchildren, Grayson Collins, Myla Collins and Camden Collins; her brother David Throckmorton; and her half-sister Carol Hauser (Robert) of Lynchburg. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and additional step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory (230 Frontier Dr, Staunton, VA 24401). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the White Hill Church of the Brethren (749 Old White Hill Rd, Stuarts Draft, VA 24477). A graveside service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Of the Brethren Cemetery (749 Old White Hill Rd, Stuarts Draft, VA 24477).
