Donald G. Whiteman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald G. Whiteman of Staunton, Virginia, who passed away on June 28, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Joann; and his sons, Thomas and Douglas. He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Headifen and Wendy White of Staunton; his grandchildren, Whitney White Vaughn, Wesley White and Wilson White; his great grandchildren, Emerson Vaughn and Liam Vaughn; his sons-in-law, Richard Headifen of Virginia and Warren White of Virginia; and his brothers, Ralph of Illinois and Richard of South Carolina. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family has suggested, in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to Monmouth College (700 E. Broadway, Monmouth, Illinois 61462) to a scholarship that has been set up in his name, or the Building Fund of Covenant Presbyterian Church of Staunton (2001 N. Coalter St., Staunton, Virginia 24401).
